Obverse description At center, the Russian State emblem — a double-headed eagle with wings displayed, rendered without crowns or orb and sceptre in the post-Soviet transitional style — occupies the inner field, surrounded by a beaded inner border. The denomination '150 РУБЛЕЙ' arcs along the upper legend and '1993 г.' along the right, while 'БАНК РОССИИ' curves along the lower border, all in Cyrillic. To the lower left of the eagle appears the fineness mark 'Pt 999' and to the lower right the weight '15.55', with the Leningrad Mint monogram (ЛМД) mark situated at the base of the eagle. The design is executed in proof finish with deeply mirrored fields contrasting against frosted devices.
