| Additional information |
The Oktyabrskaya Revolyutsiya was a Gangut-class battleship commissioned under the Tsar, renamed after the revolution, and kept in Soviet service long past her useful life largely for symbolic reasons. She survived the Siege of Leningrad by acting as a stationary gun platform in the Neva, absorbing German bombing raids that would have finished a less politically inconvenient vessel.
The "Arctic Territories" issuer is a licensing fiction — these pieces are produced for the collectibles market under territorial designations that hold no meaningful monetary authority.
