Obverse description The obverse depicts a broadside view of the Austro-Hungarian dreadnought battleship SMS Viribus Unitis sailing on open water, her name inscribed along the hull. The vessel is rendered in fine relief, with masts, rigging, and superstructure detailed in a linear engraving style. The Croatian coat of arms — the traditional red-and-white chequered shield surmounted by a crown of historical shields — appears to the upper right of the field. The curved legend REPUBLIKA HRVATSKA arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 150 KUNA is inscribed in large characters along the lower rim.
