Obverse description The fourth-generation effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Susanna Blunt, is depicted in right-facing portrait, bare-headed, wearing a necklace and drop earrings. The legend ELIZABETH II flanks the effigy, with 150 DOLLARS and CANADA inscribed in the surrounding field, along with the date 2011. The portrait presents the Queen at approximately 77 years of age in a refined, naturalistic style consistent with Blunt's 2003 official effigy.
