Reverse description The reverse features an elaborate design in the tradition of Chinese decorative art, centered on a circular medallion bearing the Chinese characters 太平 (meaning 'great peace'). A finely detailed phoenix with outstretched wings rises on the left, symbolizing prosperity and renewal, while an ornate branch of blossoms and foliage sweeps across the right side of the field. Stylized auspicious clouds rendered in a classical Chinese motif fill the upper register. The denomination 150 DOLLARS and date 2013 arc across the upper border, while the legend CANADA and the Chinese characters 加拿大 appear along the lower border, with the engraver's initials AC visible in the lower field.
