Obverse description The gold center displays the uncrowned effigy of King Charles III in left-facing profile, rendered in high relief by engraver Dan Thorne, whose initials 'DT' appear at the truncation. A small circular privy mark depicting a wedge-tailed eagle in flight is positioned above the portrait within the gold field. The platinum outer ring carries the legend 'CHARLES III' on the left and 'AUSTRALIA' on the right, with the denomination '150 DOLLARS' inscribed along the lower arc. Two raised dots flank the denomination on the ring, and a fine reeded inner border separates the ring from the gold center.
