| Obverse description | Central depiction of the Temple of Heaven (Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests) in Beijing, rendered in fine detail with its characteristic triple-tiered circular roof and surrounding marble terrace and balustrades. The legend 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) arcs along the upper border, while the date 2007 appears in the lower exergue. A secondary commemorative inscription 中国熊猫金币发行25周年纪念 (Commemorating the 25th Anniversary of Chinese Panda Gold Coin Issuance) curves along the lower inner border. The design is executed in frosted relief against a mirror-polished field, typical of Chinese proof-quality commemorative coinage. |
