| Obverse description | Central depiction of the Temple of Heaven (Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests) in Beijing, rendered in fine detail with its characteristic triple-tiered circular roof and surrounding marble terrace and balustrade. The Chinese legend 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) arcs along the upper periphery within a beaded border. The lower arc bears the commemorative inscription 中国熊猫金币发行25周年纪念 (25th Anniversary of Chinese Panda Gold Coin Issuance), with the date 2007 appearing in the exergue below the temple. |
