| Obverse description | The central field carries the text 'Domaines nationaux / Assignat de quinze sols, payable au porteur' in letterpress, with a manuscript signature between engraver attribution lines reading 'GERARD' and 'FECIT'. At the lower centre, a neoclassical vignette by Gatteaux presents two allegorical female figures flanking a roundel bearing '15s', with a tablet inscribed 'DROIT DE L'HOMME' at centre and a second tablet 'FAITS HISTO' to the right.
