Obverse description Central field displays the national emblem of Muscat and Oman: two crossed khanjar daggers overlaid upon a pair of crossed swords, all rendered in high relief. The emblem is encircled by a beaded inner border, within which an Arabic legend curves along the upper arc identifying the ruler. The outer border features a decorative reeded rim interspersed with stylised palm tree and dhow motifs arranged at regular intervals around the circumference. A second Arabic inscription curves along the lower arc of the inner circle, completing the heraldic composition. The overall design is executed in a crisp, medallic style befitting a presentation piece.
