| Obverse description | Irregular rectangular silver flan with a finely cross-hatched border enclosing a recessed central field bearing four vertically arranged Chinese characters in raised hammered relief. The legend reads 銀十五匁 (Silver Fifteen Monme), denoting the denomination. The characters are boldly executed in a cursive brushwork-influenced style typical of late Edo-period domain silver coinage. The textured field beneath the inscription displays fine parallel striations characteristic of the hammered production technique. |

| Reverse description | Irregular rectangular silver flan with a border of raised hemispherical bosses arranged in a continuous row around the perimeter, enclosing a finely striated central field. Two small lozenge-shaped punch marks appear near the top of the field. Three Chinese characters — 福知山 (Fukuchiyama) — are rendered in raised hammered relief in two vertical columns occupying the centre of the field, identifying the issuing domain. The overall execution is characteristic of improvised domain emergency coinage of the Meiji Restoration period. |
