Obverse description Brown-toned treasury note with an elaborate ornamental border of interlocking guilloche scrollwork enclosing the central text. The denomination numeral '15' appears in each of the four corner medallions, with the large bold inscription 'Tizenöt pengő krajczárra' serving as the principal legend. A small Hungarian royal coat of arms vignette is positioned in the lower centre, flanked by a manuscript signature and the date 'Budán 1849-ki január 1-én' within the body text.

Tizenöt pengő krajczárra,
melly, négy darabját egy forintra számitva, a' kincstári pénztáraknál magyar pénzjegyek iránt mindenkor beváltatik, és minden köz-pénztáraknál fizetés gyanánt elfogadtatik.

Reverse description Plain white reverse with a simple fine-line rectangular border frame enclosing a multilingual counterfeiting warning printed in five languages: Hungarian, German, Slovak, Serbian (Latin script), and Romanian (Cyrillic script). The text is set in letterpress in uniform rows, each passage warning that forgers and imitators face up to eight years of imprisonment.
