| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Maria Theresa facing right, depicted as a young woman with elaborately curled hair. The effigy shows the Empress in a low-cut gown with lace detailing at the décolletage, rendered in a Baroque portrait style. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust, abbreviated with periods between each element. The portrait is boldly modelled with high relief, filling much of the coin's field. |

| Reverse description | Half-length figure of the Madonna depicted facing forward, holding the Christ Child on her right arm in the traditional Patrona Hungariae iconographic type. The denomination numeral XV appears below the Madonna within a half-cartouche at the base of the design. The mint mark K-B (for Kremnica) flanks the value, with the date 1746 incorporated into the reverse legend. A circular Latin legend encircles the entire composition. |
