| Reverse description | Central device featuring a crowned oval shield bearing the quartered arms of Ducal Saxony (barry of ten or and sable with a crancelin) impaling the arms of Sayn, flanked on either side by upright palm fronds. An electoral bonnet surmounts the crowned shield. Below the shield, the denomination XV appears within a cartouche. The date 1693 is inscribed in the outer margin at the top, with the surrounding legend identifying this as a princely Saxon-Sayn territorial currency piece. |
