| Obverse description | Draped bust of Tyche facing right, her turreted or veiled head rendered in the Hellenistic tradition typical of Phoenician civic bronze coinage. The effigy occupies the central field, with the portrait displaying the characteristic stylistic conventions of the period. Traces of a legend appear to be present along the upper right rim, largely obscured by wear and patination. The flan is irregular, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze production of the 2nd century BC. |
