| Obverse description | The Estonian coat of arms occupies the upper centre of the field, depicting three blue lions passant on a golden shield, flanked by oak branches with acorns, rendered in high relief against a finely stippled background evoking the Estonian national flag's blue, black, and white tricolour. The legend EESTI VABARIIK arcs along the upper periphery in Latin characters, with the date 2021 split to either side of the coat of arms. A facsimile signature, identified as that of Friedrich Karl Akel, appears in the lower portion of the field, rendered in an elegant cursive style that adds a distinctly personal and historical dimension to the design. |
