Additional information

Canada's lunar series has run long enough that the ox issue arrives with little surprise — but the 2021 date carries an unintentional resonance, landing in the second year of a global disruption that had already shuttered the RCM's Winnipeg facility briefly in 2020. The .9999 fineness, finer than the standard .999 used by most sovereign mints on bullion strikes, has been the RCM's calling card on collector silver since the 1990s and remains a genuine technical distinction rather than a marketing one.
