Additional information

Australia's gold kangaroo bullion series has been issued continuously since 1989, making it one of the longer-running national gold programs globally. The Perth Mint introduced a sixth portrait of Elizabeth II by sculptor Jody Clark in 2019, the same portrait adopted by the Royal Mint for UK coinage — though the Perth Mint's own sculpting team adapted it for Australian issues rather than using the Royal Mint's dies directly.

The 1/10 oz denomination sits at the smaller end of the kangaroo range, which scales from 1/20 oz up to the one-tonne commemorative struck in 2011.
