| Obverse description | The fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as designed by Susanna Blunt, occupies the centre of the obverse field, depicting a mature, uncrowned right-facing portrait of the sovereign adorned with a pearl necklace and drop earrings. The sculptural relief is rendered with fine detail, particularly in the arrangement of the Queen's styled hair.
