| Obverse description | The fourth portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth II faces right, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, rendered in fine relief against a deeply mirrored proof field. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs across the upper field and AUSTRALIA descends along the right, with the denomination 15 DOLLARS inscribed along the lower periphery. A denticled border frames the entire design. The engraver's initials IRB appear beneath the truncation of the effigy, attributing the portrait to Ian Rank-Broadley. |
