| Reverse description | The reverse presents a finely detailed, panoramic engraving of the iconic Rialto Bridge spanning the Grand Canal in Venice, with gondolas and a gondolier depicted in the foreground waters below. Architectural facades of Venetian buildings flank both sides of the bridge in precise relief work. A sun-burst shaped inlay of authentic amber-toned Murano art glass is applied to the upper portion of the field, its organic, textured form contrasting dramatically against the polished and frosted silver surfaces.
