Obverse description Stylized and highly abstracted head rendered in the Celtic artistic tradition, facing right, decomposed into curvilinear elements. The hair or crown is depicted as a series of flowing scroll-like motifs and pellet-tipped arcs radiating from the central mass, with a prominent whorl or spiral in the lower field. The design is enclosed within a beaded border, characteristic of Belgic coinage of the late La Tène period. The overall treatment reflects the schematic debasement of the classical Macedonian stater prototype into a distinctly Celtic idiom. A single letter or mark, possibly 'S', appears in the field as the sole inscription.
