Obverse description Essentially blank field displaying the characteristic convex surface of a Celtic quarter stater flan, with faint linear striations near the periphery. The surface is unmarked and featureless at center, typical of the uninscribed obverse tradition of Cantian coinage. The irregular flan edge reflects hand-hammering production techniques common to Late Iron Age British issues.
