| Reverse description | A stylized horse depicted in a dynamic, abstracted Gallo-Celtic manner, facing right and occupying the majority of the flan. The body is compact and rounded, with the legs rendered as simplified linear elements below. Multiple parallel lines suggest the wing or mane of the animal, a common artistic convention in Cenomani coinage. Above and around the horse, fragmentary geometric and curvilinear decorative elements fill the field, including what appear to be disjointed limbs or abstract symbols derived from the charioteer motif of earlier Macedonian staters. No legend is present; the reverse is entirely anepigraphic. |
