| Obverse description | Two facing busts of university rectors arranged side by side in the field, each accompanied by their respective title, year of tenure, and name inscribed to the left. A continuous row of dots runs parallel and close to the periphery, forming a beaded border. The design commemorates the centenary of the Universidad del Zulia, identifying Dr. F. Ochoa as 1st Rector (1891) and Dr. J. E. Lossada as 1st Rector (1946). All legends are rendered in Latin script. |
