Obverse description Convex obverse field exhibiting a highly stylized, smooth central boss of elevated relief, surrounded by a shallow concave channel that creates a pronounced shell-like or mussel-like contour. The flan is irregular and lenticular in form, characteristic of Celtic hammered gold coinage. The surface is devoid of any inscriptions or figural devices, the entire design reduced to an abstract plastic form. The fabric reflects the minimalist aniconic tradition of late Celtic coinage in the Boii territory. No legend or secondary motif is present.
