| Reverse description | A stylised lotus flower rises from two curling spiral tendrils in the centre of the design, rendered in a decorative Archaic manner. To the right of the floral motif is an astragalos (knucklebone), and to the left an ivy leaf, both serving as subsidiary symbols that were common on Cypriot coinage of this period. The entire composition is contained within a recessed incuse square, characteristic of the hammered coinage of Classical Cyprus. |
