Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing an Attic crested helmet adorned with a griffin motif on the bowl. The goddess is depicted in the Hellenistic artistic tradition, with fine facial features and the helmet visor raised. The flan is irregular and slightly worn, consistent with small bronze coinage of the Attalid period.
