Obverse description The obverse reproduces in high relief the design of the Canadian 13-cent postage stamp issued between 1910 and 1935, depicting the Royal Yacht Britannia under full sail on choppy seas. The legend CANADA appears across the top flanked by the dates 1910 and 1935, with POSTES to the left and POSTAGE to the right in vertical orientation; denomination numerals 13 appear in oval cartouches at lower left and lower right, with CENTS along the bottom. Maple leaf devices and anchor ornaments decorate the corners, and the name BRITANNIA is inscribed in small letters near the hull of the vessel.
