| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, depicted in archaic style with the helmet covering the crown of the head. The portrait is rendered in low relief, heavily worn and encrusted with green and red patina consistent with long burial. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, typical of early Hellenistic municipal bronze coinage from the Troad region. |

| Reverse description | Owl standing facing or in three-quarter view, with wings closed, typical civic type of Athena-associated coinage. A partial Greek inscription referencing the city of Ilion (ΙΛΙΕ or similar civic legend) is visible in the field, though heavily obscured by corrosion and wear. The design occupies most of the flan, consistent with small civic bronze issues of the late fourth to early third century BC. |
