| Obverse description | Diademed head of Venus facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic provincial style characteristic of southern Gallic mints of the late Republican period. The hair is drawn back beneath the diadem, with loose locks falling behind the neck. The Greek legend ΝΙ ΔΙ appears in the field to the left of the effigy, serving as a magistrate's name abbreviation. The flan is irregular and the relief is moderately worn, consistent with the small hammered bronze coinage of Antipolis. |
