Obverse description Facing head of Helios, depicted full face, wearing a radiate crown with long, stylized rays spreading outward from the hair in all directions. The rendering is bold and schematic, characteristic of late Hellenistic provincial bronze coinage, with deeply cut facial features including prominent eyes, a broad nose, and slightly parted lips. The hair falls in wavy locks framing the face on either side. No surrounding legend or border is present; the head fills the flan.
