Obverse description Forepart of a bull facing left, rendered in archaic style within the small flan; the animal's muscular neck and curving horn are depicted in low relief against a plain field. The design is characteristic of the early Phliasian coinage, reflecting the civic emblem of the polis. No legend or inscription is present on this denomination.

Reverse description Incuse square punch with a shallow, irregular quadripartite depression, within which a rough incuse image of the bull's forepart is visible in negative relief. The incuse technique is consistent with early Archaic Greek coinage production, wherein the reverse die was a simple punch driven into the blank to secure it during striking. No inscription or legend present.
