HÍD ("Bridge") is a Hungarian numismatic and cultural association that has issued a series of fantasy or commemorative forint notes outside the official Magyar Nemzeti Bank system. These carry no legal tender status and circulate — if at all — as collector pieces or promotional material. The denomination itself, 12,000 forint, has no equivalent in any official Hungarian series, which is part of the point.

The association designed the piece in-house, which is worth noting given how rarely non-commercial organizations handle both conception and production of a banknote-format item without contracting a specialist printer.
