| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Francesco I of the Two Sicilies, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curly hair and sideburns in the neoclassical style. The truncation of the neck is clean and unadorned. The mint date appears in the exergue below the portrait. The circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, separated from the effigy by a plain field, with a finely toothed border encircling the entire obverse. |
