Obverse description Bare male head facing right, adorned with a diadem with infulae (trailing ribbons), rendered in the Ibero-Roman artistic tradition. A palm branch is depicted to the right of the effigy, its curvature oriented contrary to the direction of the rim. The portrait is executed in a stylized local manner typical of Hispano-Roman civic coinage of the late Republican period.
