| Reverse description | Within a dotted border, a stylized ear of grain or palm branch rises vertically from the lower field, its leafy fronds extending symmetrically to either side in a schematic, decorative manner. The motif is a common fertility or abundance symbol employed on the autonomous coinage of Hispanian cities during the late Republican period. The field is otherwise plain, with no additional legend or secondary devices visible. The strike is characteristic of the irregular hammered fabric typical of Iberian civic bronzes of the 1st century BC. |
