Obverse description Confronting foreparts of a lion and a bull facing one another, rendered in the archaic Lydian artistic tradition. The lion, depicted to the right, displays an open jaw with characteristic schematic mane detailing, while the bull faces left with lowered head. The two animals are shown in profile in the central field, the design struck in high relief with granular surface texture typical of early Lydian coinage. No legend or inscription is present.
