Obverse description Ornate cursive royal cypher 'F' in the center of the field, rendered in an elaborate calligraphic style with foliate flourishes. A large arched crown surmounts the monogram, decorated with fleurs-de-lis and cross finial, consistent with a bishop-prince's heraldic crown. The design occupies the majority of the coin's surface, with no surrounding legend on this side. The artistic execution reflects the Baroque decorative tradition prevalent in German ecclesiastical coinage of the mid-eighteenth century.
