Obverse description Shield bearing the five-fold quartered arms of the Lords of Haldenstein, displayed within a beaded inner circle. The escutcheon is centrally positioned in the field, flanked by decorative foliate elements at the sides. The peripheral legend in Latin reads THOMAS·L·B·AB·EHRENFELS·D·I·H, referencing Thomas I, Freiherr (Lord) of Ehrenfels, Lord in Haldenstein. The coin exhibits the characteristic irregular flan shape of hammered silver coinage of the early seventeenth century.
