Obverse description The crowned arms of Öttingen-Spielberg occupy the central field, rendered as a quartered shield with elaborate Baroque detailing. Two rampant lions serve as heraldic supporters, flanking the shield on either side and resting on an ornate scrollwork base. A princely crown surmounts the achievement at the top. The lower portion of the design features decorative acanthus-scroll mantling, and a small star or mintmaster's mark appears at the base of the composition.

Reverse description The denomination XII / KREU- / ZER / Ö·L·M· is boldly inscribed in five lines within an elaborate Baroque cartouche formed by scrolling foliate ornaments. The cartouche is framed by symmetrical rococo flourishes extending to either side. The date 1759 is displayed in the exergue below the cartouche, divided centrally by a small star. The reeded border is visible around the entire periphery of the coin.
