Reverse description The reverse is plain and unadorned, displaying the characteristic cast surface of Warring States spade money with a smooth to lightly textured field. A faint vertical median ridge, a structural feature resulting from the two-piece clay mould casting process, is visible running the length of the blade. The surface exhibits a thick, layered green patina with areas of malachite encrustation typical of long-buried bronze artefacts of this period.
