| Obverse description | Cast bronze flat spade money (bu) of the Warring States period, issued by the State of Han. The planchet assumes the characteristic squared-shoulder, flat-foot spade form with a hollow socket at the top through which the handle would originally have been fitted. A single Chinese archaic character 公 (Gong) is cast in relief at the center of the field, flanked by raised vertical rib lines running the length of the body. The entire surface exhibits an even green patina consistent with ancient burial, with areas of blue-green and red cuprite patination visible across the field. |

| Reverse description | Plain reverse of the flat spade form, displaying the characteristic raised border lines and central vertical rib running from the hollow socket at the top down through the body to the bifurcated foot. The surface is unadorned and bears no inscription, retaining a heavily encrusted green and blue patina throughout. The casting seam is visible along the perimeter, typical of the sand-mold casting technique employed for Warring States spade coinage. |
