Reverse description The reverse displays a large, centrally positioned Star of David (Magen David) rendered in high relief against a burnished field, formed by two overlapping equilateral triangles with detailed wood-grain texturing on the interlocking arms. The star is set within an ornate border of intertwining Celtic-style knotwork and stylized tree-of-life motifs, with scrolling foliate branches filling the surrounding field. The inscription STAR OF DAVID appears in decorative script along the lower portion of the design, positioned beneath the central hexagram.

Additional information

Liberia has issued a long and often controversial series of small gold fractional pieces through licensed distributors — many targeting the collector novelty market rather than any domestic monetary function. At 0.03 g of .9999 gold, this piece contains so little metal that fabrication and distribution costs almost certainly exceed the bullion value many times over.
