Obverse description Facing head of Athena, slightly turned to the right, wearing a triple-crested Attic helmet; the facial features rendered in the archaic-influenced style characteristic of Ionian bronzes of the late Classical period. The helmet's cheek-guards frame the goddess's face, and curling locks of hair are visible beneath the rim on either side.

Reverse description Ram standing to the right in the field, rendered with compact, naturalistic modelling typical of Klazomenian civic bronzes; a fly depicted before the ram in the right field serves as a secondary type or control symbol. A partial Greek inscription appears along the upper border of the reverse field, referencing the issuing city.
