Reverse description A detailed aerial view of the city of Lucerne seen from the south fills the lower portion of the field, depicting the Reuss River, Chapel Bridge, Musegg Wall with towers, and Saint Leodegar Church. In the upper field, two putti appear in clouds, one haloed and holding a torch, the other in flight beside him. The legend arcs around the upper rim, and the engraver's name appears in the exergue.
