| Obverse description | Elaborate quartered coat of arms with central escutcheon, displayed within an ornately mantled cartouche, flanked by scrolling foliate strapwork. Three ornate crested helmets rise above the shield, the central crest issuing an elaborate fan of ostrich feathers, the flanking crests adorned with wings and animal supporters. The peripheral legend in Latin is distributed around the coin between pellet stops, identifying the issuing count by name and title. |
