| Obverse description | Central field displays the interlaced CL cypher of Duke Christian Louis of Brunswick-Lüneburg-Celle, surmounted by a ducal crown, all enclosed within a wreath of laurel branches. Surrounding the wreath is an arrangement of nine heraldic shields representing the territorial arms of the duchy, each crowned and finely engraved. The peripheral legend encircles the entire design within a beaded border, with the denomination indication appearing at the base of the wreath. |
