Obverse description Central rectangular cartouche containing Tibetan script arranged in a grid-like pattern, flanked by additional Tibetan characters to the left, right, and below. A further inscription appears above the cartouche in the upper field. The entire design is contained within a plain inner border and surrounded by a beaded outer border, characteristic of the Sino-Tibetan coinage struck at the Dode mint in 1792.
