Obverse description Central field displays a six-spoked wheel or rosette motif enclosed within a beaded inner circle, evoking the civic arms of Wiedenbrück. The legend MO. CIVI. WIDENBG. (Moneta Civitatis Wiedenbruck) runs around the periphery within an outer beaded border. The design is characteristic of small hammered copper municipal coinage of the early eighteenth century, with bold, slightly irregular lettering typical of local German city mints.
